A selection process spanning over 3 months and dealing with thousands of applications by Ugandan students earlier in the week concluded as the work of the scholarship selection committee of the Madhvani Foundation came to a close this year. The Trustees then announced that 152 scholarship awards for the year 2014/15 have been made, worth some 650 million Uganda Shillings, the highest such scholarship fund award any company in Uganda is making, and is making it year after year.

In a statement issued by the Foundation did Mr. Anthony Butele the Chairman Scholarship Committee say the foundation has always looked to bring hope to the economically challenged but academically talented students of Uganda. He advised the successful candidates to come with proof of identification at the Madhvani Foundation Offices, Industrial Area to collect their Scholarship Award letters after 10th September 2014 between 09.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs.
