THE Madhvani foundation has announced the names of the recipients for scholarships in the academic year 2010 - 2011. This academic year has seen the biggest amount of money ever donated by the foundation.

Last academic year (2009/10), the foundation donated sh516m to the same cause. However, the number of students to be sponsored has dropped from last year's 175 to 149 this year.
This year, the foundation has donated sh536.6m to sponsor 149 students at university.
