The Muljibhai Madhvani Foundation is once again set to announce their annual Scholarships worth over Shs400 million to help bright needy students in higher institution of learning finish their studies.

"We will be proud to yet again avail Shs400 million to Ugandas brightest students, who may well otherwise not have been able to complete their studies," the Chairman of the Muljibhai Madhvani Foundation, Mr Sam Rutega said in a statement.

The Madhvani Foundation is a Charitable Trust established in 1965, the foundation believes future prosperity of Uganda lies in education hence they set up a fund to provide scholarships to students who do sciences and technical education. About 75 per cent of the scholarship will be extended to undergraduate courses and 25 per cent to postgraduate courses. The Madhvani Foundation said only students who do Agriculture, sciences, Information Technology, Commerce, Medicine, Energy, Law among others will be legible for sponsorship.
