Madhvani Foundation has today released the shortlist of applicants to be interviewed for the 2013/14 scholarships announced in April this year. The 290 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students on the shortlist will have face-to-face interviews with the Foundation Scholarship committee from 12thto 17th August 2013before successful candidates are selected and their names announced.

Commenting on the announcement, Hon Anthony Butele said, “We have reviewed each of the 1,400 applications thoroughly and narrowed it down to 247 undergraduate students and 43 Postgraduatestudents from whom we would like to get more information before a final decision is made by the committee. These individuals have put forwards some very compelling cases for financial support and the interviews will give us an opportunity to assess the situations more closely and dig deeper into them.”
