As a way of increasing the number of scholarships, beneficiaries of the Madhvani Foundation scholarship programme have been advised to give back to the scheme.

Speaking at the Muljibhai Madhvani Alumni Association’s (MMASS) 5th annual general meeting at Hotel Africana on October 25, Anne Magona, a member of the scholarships committee, asked members to contribute to the scholarship bag as well as pay annual subscription “so we could give out more scholarships.”

Magona revealed that the foundation would soon ask members to commit 10 per cent of their monthly salary for a year to the scholarship bag immediately they acquire jobs. She added that there was a possibility of indicating this condition in the application forms.
