Madhvani Foundation will spend sh700m this year, on its scholarship programme for university students.

The Madhvani Foundation has since 2003 awarded scholarships by injecting sh300m annually, and this amount has now more than been doubled.

The scholarship programme will fund university dues of Ugandans who are brainy but struggling to study both at undergraduate and post graduate levels because of financial constraints.
