Madhvani Foundation recently released the shortlist of applicants to be interviewed for the 2013/14 scholarships announced in April this year.

The 290 undergraduate and postgraduate students on the shortlist will have face-to-face interviews with the Foundation Scholarship Committee from August 12 to 17, 2013, before successful candidates are selected and their names announced.

The chairman Madhvani Foundation Scholarship Committee, Anthony Butele, while commenting on the announcement said: “We have reviewed each of the 1,400 applications thoroughly and narrowed it down to 247 undergraduate students and 43 postgraduate students, from whom we would like to get more information before a final decision is made by the committee. These individuals have put forward some very compelling cases for financial support and the interviews will give us an opportunity to assess the situations more closely and dig deeper into them.”
